2. What?s up in your local scene !?
In the beginning it was really cool(94-97)
then the corruption has strike the trance scene here.
Now it startes again

3. What are you doing when you`re not playing music?
I like to listen music,
I study for the univeristy,
I watch soccer etc

4. What are your origins?
How and when did you come to trance music, and to your first gigs?
I used to listen electronic music since I was 15
from a cousin who was 10 older than me but he wa sin university
and had the experience of house and rave stuff.
So in 94 I listen to the first trance records:dragonfly series(project to trance)some other releases
like prana etc.
It was really cool cause the trance music at that time became really cheezy
(Robert Miles and the rest bullshits).
The first gig was to Altern8 in Salonica in 92.



5. Why did you decide to become a DJ/LABELMANAGER ?
Well I got the idea for a label while I was travelling.
I thought that greece was one of the biggest trance scenes at that time and there was no label based here.
I started djing to promote my label stuff

6. What are your projects at the Moment ?
Many new releases:
debut albums from

Segment,
Adrenochrome,
Trioptimum,
Opsis,

one cd with remixes from
Midimliz,
son kite,
etc

and new compilations,

one compiled by me
and the other from thomas of POTS.

7.What do you think of the today's scene in general? What trends is it taking, what moments you like or dislike?
Well this is really difficult question.
Trance music now starts to be not so fast as it was
(really like-more intelligent)
People from other stuff start to listen to what we call prog psy trance and this is good.
The market gets bigger.

I dislike the full on sound(trax up to 150 bpms),
I can not listen it anymore but sure there are some really wicked stuff.
I just can not listen in the house,
in parties it is ok.

8.What do you think of the growing number of the labels, artists and websites like FREDERIKFLANGER.com and the quality of the music released nowadays?
Well it is true that there are many labels
but I think it is matter of time of which labels will survive.
Take for example in Greece now there are 5 labels(funny???).
Regarding the artsist now,
it is really good that this scene is refreshed periodically with new blood.
This is unique and it must continue.
All the sites regarding the trance scene should be here alive all the time with news etc.


9.You favorites for the moment and what other (non trance) music do you like?
Well I really like the progressive tunes.
I really enjoy also Enya ,
Dead can dance ,
Enigma mostly stuff like this.


10.what?s the spirit behind ZMA ? WHICH IDEA !?
To release good music

11.What does it mean for you playing and producing things!?-
At the moment is the meaning of my life.

12.Which DJs and acts and Parties have influenced your style?-
Jeff Mills,Laurent Garnier from djs and from bands X dream

13.What was the best, funniest or strangest experience in your career?
While I wad djing in a party in Mexico,a couple started having sex in the corner ahead from where it was the dj position.really funny
